1501 Uptown Gastropub - A lively casual dining environment with elevated pub cuisine, crafty cocktails, and artisan draft beers. 1501 is open for dinner only, seven nights a week, and open late on weekends. Also, open for Saturday and Sunday Brunch. Reservations recommended. 760-320-1501

533 Viet Fusion - A very thoughtfully created menu of delicious modern Vietnamese-inspired food – from pho to a spring roll bar, paired with unique twists on classic cocktails, beer, and wine. This South Palm Springs hip dining room is a guest favorite for both food and decor. 760-778-6595

Al Dente - Downtown Italian-Tuscan restaurant that has a cozy step-down patio with twinkling lights and is great for people-watching. Everything is homemade with the freshest of ingredients beginning with flavorful antipasti, fresh salads, and a variety of soups and made-from-scratch pasta. Open Late until 10 PM. 760-325-1160

Azúcar Restaurant @ La Serena Villas - Farm-to-table Spanish and Mediterranean-inspired menu includes small plates and full course options. Expect sharable plates like watermelon salad with pepitas and mint pesto and Kobe sliders in an Estrella beer-based BBQ sauce. A guest favorite! Reservations recommended. 844-932-8044

Bill’s Pizza - With great takes on classics and clever specialty pizzas, this local pizzeria is highly regarded by locals and visitors alike. Gluten-free and vegetarian options. 760-325-5571

Billy Reeds - Opened in 1975! Billy Reeds is considered by many a true comfort food haven here in Palm Springs, complete with a kitschy red velvet wallpaper interior. Billy’s grandmother taught him all her secret family recipes, specializing in Sunday dinner classics, and her award-winning baking recipes that are all still made fresh daily. 760-325-1946

Birba - Amazing hip Italian, Neapolitan pizzas, small plates, killer cocktails. Cozy outdoor dining, with a fun LA Vibe. Weekends will be busy! Summer Hours: Open until 10PM. Closed Tuesday/Wednesday, Closed completely from 7/15-8/14. 760-327-5678

Blackbook - Besides being a super-hip cocktail bar, with a perfect ‘people watching’ open patio, they also serve yummy bar food until 1 AM. Happy Hour everyday 4-6 PM, Thursday 5-7 PM- Local Bear meet-up 760-832-8497

Chi Chi @ Avalon Hotel - Latin American food gets a healthy kick in the pants at this alfresco cool-kid haunt. Awesome outdoor romantic dining by the pool. 760-318-3005

Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse - An all you can eat steakhouse, featuring the authentic flavors of Brazilian fire roasted meat selection, brought and carved tableside. This new modern dining room, taking on an old Brazilian tradition has been the buzz about town since opening. In addition to the tableside  menu, you can also choose just the ‘fresh market table’, filled with many dishes that includes salad bar, and warm dish options. 760-409-7555

Clandestino - Modern Mexican located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, with a great mountain view!A great choice for a wonderful dining experience filled with sophistication and a delicious seafood forward menu From the owners of FARM and Tac/Quila. 760-699-6222

Copley’s on Palm Canyon - Part of the former Cary Grant estate, this romantic restaurant offers elevated American dishes. Beautiful outdoor patio with stunning mountain views! 760-327-9555

Crudo Cevicheria - A seafood-centric bistro with fish offerings so fresh, you won’t believe you are in the desert. Delicious citricy ceviches, as well as other entrees, salads, and latin inspired dishes that always have big flavor and fresh ingredients. Very casual, no reservations taken, closed on Sundays. 442-268-9389

Del Rey - A beautiful and intimate, paneled room in the renovated Villa Royale Hotel, the Del Rey has become a popular place to enjoy craft cocktails and delicious shareable plates of whimsical tapas-inspired food,. Late Night food, open until 10PM. 760-327-2314

Eight4Nine - Modern décor and cuisine at this uptown darling. Great menu, friendly service and a very sexy dining room. The bar is great for walk ins and a more casual menu. 760-325-8490

El Mirasol - A local and visitors favorite, El Mirasol offers artfully prepared regional Mexican cuisine and some of the best margaritas in Palm Springs. with 2 locations in both South and North Palm Springs, one location is always close by! 760-323-0721

El Patio - Palm Springs’ newest Mexican restaurant, is locally owned and known for its delicious homemade food and huge shady patio. They have a full bar that serves several festive margarita selections! 760-832-6332

Farm - Intimate country-chic eatery serving farm-to-table Provencal fare. Best known for fantastic breakfast & lunch. Friday & Saturday Chef’s tasting dinner menu is amazing. Very popular, make reservations early. 760-322-2724

Felipe’s - Felipe’s Mexican Restaurant is a great addition to Palm Springs and has become a local favorite since its opening. Literally owned by two guys named Felipe, serving food from generations of family recipes, using the freshest ingredients, and no skimping, no skipping steps, in anything. 760-318-9277

Fisherman’s Market - Extremely casual. A seafood favorite served fresh & fast. A great place to go before exploring Arena St bars. 760-327-1766

Fuzion Five - Fuzion Five serves traditional Vietnamese and Lao cuisine fusing home cooking techniques from both regions. Great downtown location, can be busy on weekends. 760-322-6162

Grand Central - American Restaurant on La Plaza, serving seasonal, fresh farm-to-table food. Now serving dinner, but already a hit for breakfast and lunch! People talk about prosciutto benedict, sweet potato gnocchi, and tomato salad. 760-699-7185

Il Corso - Absolutely authentic Italian cuisine, including homemade pasta, gourmet wood oven pizza, seafood, and roasted leg of veal. Chef Mario also prepares nightly specials from all over Italy like gnocchi and seasonal dishes. Big on flavors, but portions tend to be on the smaller side, think multiple courses when you order. 760-341-6700

Jake’s - Hip, casual American bistro, charming courtyard, or intimate indoor dining room. Delicious chef-inspired originals and gourmet comfort foods, a full bar, and a great wine list! 760-327-4400

Johannes - Modern European Cuisine from Austrian-born Chef Johannes Bacher, Upscale casual ambiance that has become a local favorite. 760-778-0017

Kreem - This tiny ice cream shop offers up HUGE flavors, including quite a few dairy-free options. Kreem is the perfect way to cool off on those warm Palm Springs nights. 760-699-8129

L’Atelier Cafe - This adorable cafe offers traditional French-made-from-scratch breakfast and lunch options at an affordable price. Perfect spot for a couples brunch. 760-778-7895

La Tablita - A great ‘off the path’ local Mexican restaurant in Cathedral City. Absolutely a local favorite. This amazing, hidden gem is an actual sit-down restaurant with very reasonable prices for delicious homemade food, in generous portion sizes. 760-321-5935

Le Vallauris - Le Vallauris is considered one of the finest French culinary destinations in Palm Springs. Specializing in five-star dining and first-class service. The impressive menu includes many French inspired culinary delights. Perfect for date night, a special occasion, or dinner with friends. Lola Rose | East Mediterranean Restaurant - Lola Rose, a spectacularly beautiful dining room located on the 2nd floor of the new Thompson Hotel, offers immersive views of the San Jacinto Mountains and a delectable menu of Levantine-inspired share-plate mediterranean cuisine. Low Desert - Funky modern Mexican farm to table restaurant. Interesting take on many classics, with many vegetarian and vegan plant based menu items. Located in Smoke Tree Plaza. Closed on Mondays. 760-656-0231

Lulu’s California Bistro - Large menu of California Cuisine. Known in town for being a fast-paced dining room, hip crowd, great for people watching. Open Late 760-327-5858

Manhattan In The Desert - A New York Style Delicatessen carrying on the tradition of a New York style Deli right here in the heart of Palm Springs. An easy few minutes drive from the resort which is great for a feel-good meal! Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner serving up big portions in their old-school diner setting. Miro’s - Always a guest favorite since opening in 2003. Known for Eastern European food, prepared classically and deliciously. A more slightly formal dining room, great for a special night out, or a date night. Reservations highly recommended, they are a local favorite and do get busy. 760-323-5199

Norma’s - Brightly colored open-air Terrace restaurant in the Parker Hotel, that serves breakfast & lunch all day and night. Fun and hip place to grab a meal, especially if you like breakfast for dinner! 760-770-5000

Paul Bar - Hidden in an unassuming strip mall on the edge of Palm Springs, this speakeasy-style bar offers expertly-crafted cocktails and late-night bites. Kitchen is open until 10PM. 760-656-4082

PS Underground - Offering one of the most unique dining experiences in Palm Springs, PS Underground is an ever-evolving supper club featuring gourmet meals and world-class entertainment. No two dinners are ever the same. 760-636-8442

Purple Room - The sophistication and glamour of the Rat Pack era come alive here, the desert’s premiere supper club. Live music Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. No Cover. Ticketed Shows are from Friday through Sunday. 760-322-4422

Ruben and Ozzy’s Oyster Bar & Grill - Relaxed, open-view kitchen with an eclectic menu specializing in seafood, and delicious small plates. Known for its amazing seafood tacos and pasta dishes. Big outdoor seating area. Open daily until 9PM 760-325-8800

Sandfish Sushi & Whiskey Bar - Creative selection of hand-crafted sushi and whiskey pairings. Considered to be one of the best sushi restaurants in the valley. Reservations are definitely recommended, it is small and popular. Open Late. 760-537-1022

Shanghai Reds Oyster Bar - Shanghai Reds Oyster Bar, tucked away in a small alleyway behind Fisherman’s Market, opens in the afternoon but truly comes to life at night with live music Thurs-Sat. Famous for fish tacos (as featured on the Food Network), fresh seafood, small & large plates, and cold beers. Late-night happy hour begins every night at 9 p.m. and goes until closing. 760-322-9293

Sherman’s Deli - Since opening its first location in 1953, Sherman’s has become a landmark in Palm Springs for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, reminiscent of a New York-style deli. Specializing in Jewish comfort food & huge portions! Homemade desserts are famous throughout the valley. 760-325-1199

Spaghetteria - Like eating in your Italian grandmother’s home, and I am not kidding. Simple delicious, Italian comfort food, made with lots of love. Owned by the same family for more than 20 years. An absolute local secret, and favorite. 760-322-7647

Spencer’s - One of the most romantic patios in the city, serving delicious California classic food. Also a hot spot for Brunch. 760-327-3446

Tac/Quila - This eatery in the heart of downtown Palm Springs offers a fresh take on Mexican classics as well as some creative originals. Always serving fresh ingredients, amazing appetizers, Considered one of the best Mexican in Palm Springs 760-417-4471

The Rooster and the Pig - Worth the wait for a table and enjoy an unusual dining experience, and it is typically a wait. The space is cozy and eclectic, and the food is quite possibly some of the best Vietnamese-inspired food in the valley. They tend to be very busy, and sometimes service suffers. try to be patient and enjoy something different. 760-832-6691

The Sandwich Spot - Fun concept sandwiches. Not your standard sub-shop. 760-778-7900

Tlaquepaque - No frills at this inexpensive taqueria. A delightful alternative to the touristy cantinas of downtown. Open until 10PM on weekends. 760-325-1125

Tony’s Grill - The newest burger joint in town and it is a big hit!. Best known for their giant burgers, fries and onion rings, but also have salads, pastas, and other grill-style classics. Very casual and affordable. Open everyday until 9PM. 760-318-1555

Townies Bagels  - If you want fresh in-shop prepared bagels of every stripe and variety, Townies is the only real choice in Palm Springs. 760-459-4555

Trio - A modern Californian chef-driven dining experience in the Uptown Design District, with all new made from scratch menu. Regular guests are falling in love with Trio all over again! 760-864-8746

Truss & Twine - Carefully crafted cocktails and a diverse small-plates menu make this a must-stop when going through Palm Springs’ Uptown Design District. Food is served until 11 PM on weeknights and 12 AM on weekends. 760-459-3451

Wilma & Frieda - Breakfast and lunch comfort food with a twist. Dishes reminiscent of childhood favorites with a grown-up flavor profile. Awesome farmhouse-inspired 2nd-floor café setting, and try to save room for the homemade baked goods. 760-992-5080
